This past weekend was the Desert 100 Race and Ironman Poker Run in Odessa, Washington, put on by the Stumpjumpers Motorcycle Club. The Ironman consists of two 40-ish mile loops over high desert rocks, brush and sand. There has been so much rain this year that you can add "large mud pits that swallow bikes whole" to the description of the terrain.
